Virtual Reality in Construction
There are many people involved in the construction process, and a lot of time is required too. The goal of technology is to aid in the increase of efficiency in as many areas as possible. VR is useful in construction during the final inspections process. Where inspectors would walk through a space to have a look at the finishing touches and make note of any details that need to be attended to, a virtual walk-through can be made of the existing space.
This virtual tour can be embedded in an email and sent to all investors. It allows for a highly interactive walk-through from the comfort of an office chair. It is detailed and can be manually controlled. Reports can easily be put together as if the viewer physically walked through the space themselves. One of the benefits is that this type of scan cannot be edited, and so it is always a true portrayal of the space.
